Promo Mechanics:
A. Qualifications:
• Female, 18 – 28 years old
• Must be Filipino and currently residing in Metro Manila
• At least 170 CM (5’6”) in height
• Communicates well in both English and Filipino.
• Willing to model in fashion pages, events, guest on TV related to promoting Metro Magazine.
• Does not have a contract with any magazine brand and modeling or talent agency.
• Is not an endorser of any conflicting brand of Top Model Search Sponsor/s.
• Will be in Manila for pictorials and other engagements with Metro.
• Top Model winner must agree to a six-month lock out with Metro, meaning she cannot do projects (whether photo shoots or fashion shows) with other glossy magazines within six months of the date of announcement of the winner (July to December 2007).
• Employees of ABS-CBN Publishing Inc., including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the contest.
B. How to Join
1. Cut out the Top Model Search coupons found inside Metro Magazine’s August 2006, September 2006 and October 2006 issues only.
2. Fill out coupon. Together with the coupon, enclose a certified true copy of your birth certificate, one full-body shot and a close-up shot (both labeled with your name, age, school/company, height and vital statistics). Pictures should be at least 12.7cm by 17.78 cm (5x7 inches).
3. Entries should be sent in a properly labeled short brown envelope with your complete name, address, school/company at the upper left-hand corner.
4. Entries can be submitted directly to the ABS-CBN Publishing Office or sent to:

5.Only entries received until November 6, 2006 will qualify for the contest.

7. All submitted entries become the property of ABS-CBN Publishing and will not be returned to senders.
8. One (1) coupon is good for one nominee/contestant only.
C. How to choose Metro Top Model Search finalists:
1. The entries will be screened by a panel of judges on November 13, 2006. From all the entries, 10 finalists will be chosen.
2. The judges for this search will be the following:
a. Melanie Cuevas – Editor-in-Chief, Metro Magazine
b. Luis Espiritu – Creative Consultant, Metro Magazine
c. Trisha Chua – Fashion Editor, Metro Magazine
d. Jackie Aquino – Director of Fashion Show, JCA Productions
e. Dra. Vicky Belo – Owner, Belo Medical Group
f. David Ennes – Managing Director, L’oreal
3. Judges will use the following criteria to choose the top 10:
a. 40% - body proportion (must conform to standard body sizes, size 2-4)
b. 30% - photogenic quality (registers well in film and print)
c. 30% - overall impact (x-factor)
100% - TOTAL
4. A DTI representative shall be invited to witness the judging.
5. The top ten finalists will be announced in Metro’s February 2007 issue. Out of the ten (10) finalists, only three (3) will move on to vie for the top model title. The judging will be done on March 7, 2007.
6. The judges will use the following criteria to screen the top ten finalists to determine the top three contestants:
a. 40% - body proportion
b. 30% - photogenic quality
c. 30% - overall impact
100% - TOTAL
7. The top three finalists will be announced in Metro’s April 2007 issue. The judgingwill be done on May 7, 2007.
8. Judges will use the following criteria to screen the top three finalists to determine the Top Model Search winner:
a. 40% - body proportion
b. 30% - photogenic quality
c. 30% - overall impact
100% - TOTAL
9. The decision of the judges shall be final.
10. The winner of Metro’s Top Model Search will be announced and featured in Metro’s July 2007 issue on five full-spread fashion pages.
11. Transportation and meals to photo shoots of the finalists will be shouldered by Metro.
D. Prizes/Privileges at stake for the Metro Top Model:
1. P150,000 worth of treatments from Belo Medical Group
2. P100,000 shoppping spree from Cinderella
3. P25,000 worth of shoes from Schu
4. Modelling and Personality Workshops from John Robert Powers (worth P88,000)
5. One-year membership at Fitness First worth P30,000
6. A five-page spread in the March issue of Metro Magazine!
E. How to Claim Prizes
1. Winner will be notified through registered mail. Prizes shall be claimed at the API office in 4F ELJCC Building, Eugenio Lopez Ave, Diliman Quezon City. Winner must set claiming schedule within 60 days upon the receipt of the notification letter.
2. Procedures in claiming prizes
a. Bring two (2) original and photocopied IDs (SSS, Driver’s License, Company ID, Birth Certificate).
b. Bring the original and photocopied Notification Letter.
3. A winner may send a representative to claim the prize by bringing the ff:
a. Original authorization letter signed by the winner.
b. Bring two (2) original and photocopied IDs of the winner (SSS, Driver’s License, Company ID, Birth Certificate).
c. Bring the original and photocopied Notification Letter.
d. Bring two (2) original and photocopied IDs of the representative (SSS, Driver’s License, Company ID, Birth Certificate).
4. Prizes are not convertible to cash. 20% Taxes for prizes exceeding P10,000 shall be shouldered by the winner.
5. Should winner fail to claim the prize within 60 days after the date of notification, the prizes will be the property of ABS-CBN Publishing Inc with prior DTI approval.
